At far distances, every light source becomes harsh
and specular. (Example: the sun). At close distances, the larger
the light source,, the softer and more flattering the light will
be. The Lightsphere is much larger than any other diffusion product,
with the added benefit of sending the light in all directions
around the barrel, and through the top hitting the ceiling and
lighting up the entire room. This image on the
left is with the bride standing next to a wall, shot in Vertical
orientation. Note how soft the lighting is. Below
is a comparison between four different types of light sources.
The image on the top right was with the LS2PJ. Notice how three-dimensional
the subject is. With other types of more direct flash, the model
looks more "flat" or two-dimensional. Please
